The Culver Hotel has a fascinating history involving myths, legends and true Hollywood movie moments. Charlie Chaplin was once the proprietor and supposedly sold the entire hotel to John Wayne in a poker game. Not to mention being directly across the street from the studios, the hotel housed many stars during the MGM Golden Era including large portions of the Wizard of Oz cast. Some say it is haunted. We were beyond ecstatic to celebrate our much beloved Culver City's 100 Centennial celebration highlighting some of the city's iconic movements through dance. Even the mayor came by to present Maya Mallick, the hotel owner, with a special award!
