The LA Follies transformed the oceanfront setting of Jonathan Club into a lush island-inspired celebration blending luxury resort ambiance with authentic Polynesian culture. Produced by Sterling Engagements, the evening combined immersive entertainment, cultural dance, and dramatic fire performance for an unforgettable guest experience.

LA Follies partnered with our Polynesian ‘ohana, Coco Tiki to create entertainment that flowed naturally throughout the event. Guests were welcomed with traditional lei greetings, immediately setting the tone for the evening as performers interacted with attendees and created an inviting tropical atmosphere.

As guests transitioned from cocktail hour to dinner outdoors overlooking the ocean, Polynesian fire performers palm torches illuminated the pathway, creating a stunning immersive moment that guided guests into the next phase of the evening.

Throughout the event, performers blended ambient dance, cultural interaction, and staged performance moments to bring the theme to life. The entertainment featured authentic Polynesian dancers performing a vibrant Rock-A-Hula number and a Polynesian fusion Tahitian performance, showcasing the rhythm, storytelling, and artistry of island dance traditions.

With 250 guests in attendance, we delivered a sophisticated twist on a Polynesian celebration—combining immersive entertainment, authentic cultural performances, ambient dancers, and dramatic fire elements within a luxury coastal setting inspired by the cinematic settings of White Lotus.
