Amanda was born in England and trained at Laine Theatre Arts, The Ailey School and Alonzo King Lines Ballet Schoo. Previous company affiliations include Hope Boykin Dance, Thomas Oritz Dance, Opus Dance, Hudson Guild Theater Company, Matthew Westerly Dance, amongst others. She also performed for the inaugural celebrations with the Lion King for President Obama. Amanda has extensive international teaching experience and is currently on the Contemporary faculty at Laine Theatre Arts.
Amy is a choreographer, teacher and performer based in London. She trained in Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance with The Dance Company in Cape Town, South Africa, before trading Africa and Fosse for England and Foucault, gaining a BA in English and Drama, then an MFA in choreography. She has worked widely in both dance and theatre, with professional companies as well as on Lottery-Heritage funded community projects. Amy is the Artistic Director of nylon theatre, and couldn't be more thrilled to be part of the London branch of the LA Follies family.
Hanna is a German born dancer, teacher and choreographer based in London. She is trained in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Street Dance and has been a long term member the dance competition team Vitesse, with whom she won several national and international titles. After receiving her BA in theatre dance she became the coach and choreographer of the team and led them to record breaking results. She has also worked as a movement director on several large scale live music and theatre productions. In 2012 she received her MFA from the University of Roehampton and is currently working as a dancer and choreographer in the UK and Germany.
Jessica began her dance training at a young age at Cranleigh Dance and Theatre Arts; performing in many productions including her role as the Principle Dancer in ‘An American in Paris’. She went on to graduate in 2010 from three years professional training at The Centre Performing Arts College London. Since Graduating, Jessica has Toured Internationally as a dancer/choreographer, completed two UK tours with ‘Essence of Ireland’ as a troupe dancer, and performed in various TV/Films including dancing alongside Lionel Blaire in ‘The Young Ones’ - Wall to Wall Media (BBC 1) and Bollywood film ‘Thaandavam’ UTV Motion Pictures. After recently completing two contracts With Costa Cruise lines as a Production Dancer, Jessica is very excited to be joining the La Follies and performing in their Premiere London team.
Jessamin is a dancer and yoga teacher originally from Lewes, East Sussex. Trained at London Contemporary Dance School and Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Jessamin has performed nationally and internationally in works by h2dance, Seven Sisters Group, Cscape Dance Theatre, Fleur Darkin Ensemble, Nutkhut, Rogue Theatre, Reuben Feels (immersive theatre), Pestiferous (The Weirdy Beardies), and companies across Europe, Sri Lanka and the USA. Jessamin has also appeared in several operas at the Royal Opera House, including David McVicar’s ‘Faust’ (choreographed by Michael Keegan-Dolan of Fabulous Beast) and Laurent Pelly’s ‘Robert Le Diable’.
Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Kacey began her passion for dance at a young age of 5 years old. In 2011 She completed her Certiﬁcate II, III, IV and Diploma in Classical & Contemporary Dance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and the Youth Ballet of WA Company. She then moved to study Internationally in the ISVP program at Broadway Dance Centre NYC, where she later was given the opportunity to dance on Good Morning America with Madonna for EPIX Hard Candy Fitness, and background dance for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. After 11 months dancing at sea aboard Princess Cruises, Kacey made the decision to move to London to continue her career and is very excited to be apart of the ﬁrst UK Follies Cast!
Becky is originally from a small town called Brampton located in Cumbria in the north of England. She started dancing at the age of three in a small school called Cumbria Dance where she found her love for the arts as well as music, and played the ﬂute, piano and cello from a young age. Becky decided to pursue a professional dance career at 16 where she trained at Northern Ballet School, a full time vocational dance school located in Manchester. She then went on to further her training at KS Dance in Warrington where she completed all her teaching qualiﬁcations in ISTD Tap, Modern and Cecchetti Ballet and also gained her National Diploma in Professional Dance. Becky likes to specialize in Jazz however she is classically trained and loves to tap. Over the past 3 years she has done 4 contracts onboard Carnival Cruise Lines including the Carnival Imagination and Carnival Splendor based out of Miami and New York, gaining valuable performing experience and also getting to travel all over the world. She has also had numerous teaching jobs in between contracts and loves to teach children with a passion for dance. Becky recently moved to London to pursue her career and is now proud to represent the LA Follies.
Rachel is from London and grew up just outside central London.
Rachel studied professional dance and musical theatre at The Urdang Academy from the age of 16 however she had been dancing since three in a local dance school. After Graduating college Rachel has modelled for Bloch dance wear and danced for Mercedes Benz world, Various music videos and Carnival Cruise lines where she spent the last 5 years dancing and travelling around the world. Rachel is now happy to be back on land and enjoying teaching, taking class and more importantly being part of the LA Follies!
